Words of wisdom from Kenny Jackett after the win at Orient. You see the bit about effort Ben May? Yeah, that's what you should be doing.
Anyway, four wins in five games is a fantastic start to Kenny's reign at The Den, but nobody should be getting carried away just yet.
Speaking to the O/S, the Millwall boss said: 'Games at this level are very tight and the only way you can be successful is if everyone is totally together and gives 100%.'
A single goal from Zak Whitbread in the first 10 minutes was enough as the Lions comfortably held on against a poor Orient side.
'If you fall 3 or 4% below that it can be the difference between winning and losing,' he continued. 'And that's something I have been emphasising to the players.'
And Orient boss Martin Ling commented: 'Millwall deserved to win the game. We've only made their keeper work once, and the only players who come out with any credit are Andy Barcham and Glenn Morris.'
So no bitter complaints there then. Good to hear a manager who doesn't have any pathetic excuses to make.
Onward and upwards. Well done Millwall - brilliant result.
Next up for the Lions it's a trip to cash-strapped Luton where another valuable three points will be on offer.
