Fears Grow Over Lacey Vote

Millwall could receive a financial blow if Graham Lacey votes against a proposal to raise £2 million from the club's current shareholders.

As in the past, the board of directors have decided to generate more money in return for more shares the following year.

But Lacey, who is the club's major shareholder, has declined to reveal how he will vote.

The property tycoon holds a 29% stake in the club, and MSC chairman Bob Asprey has revealed his concerns over Lacey's motives:

'The regeneration presents a real opportunity to change that scenario, while other League One clubs battle for survival.'

'If this raises money to enable us to survive and flourish, it has to be good. Ask Luton fans.'
