Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is pleased with the progress that young striker Jay Simpson has been making at Millwall but admitted that he is still unsure whether the 19 year-old has a future with The Gunners.
Lions boss Kenny Jackett has already revealed that he would like to sign Simpson permanently in the summer and the teenage starlet himself confirmed that he would consider a move to The Den.
But Wenger told the Southwark News that he has yet to make a final decision on the future of the former U17 England international: "At the moment it is too early to say if Jay has a future, but I think so yes.'
"He has done extremely well and has scored goals. I always thought Jay was a very good player and the fact he can get good experience at Millwall makes us all happy, because he is not only a good player but a very nice boy."
