Lions land Theo

Huddersfield striker Theo Robinson has joined Millwall on loan until December 11.

Lions boss Kenny Jackett secured the deal today, (which will be finalised on Friday), almost nine months after first targeting the forward.
Jackett had made a £200,000 offer in the summer for the pacey frontman, after trying to arrange a loan deal last January, but it was turned down.

The 21-year-old has featured just once this season for Huddersfield, in the Carling Cup trip to Everton and while he`s been on the bench four times, he hasn`t featured in the 18 for the last two matches.

Former Watford man Robinson, who scored 16 goals last season, has previously had loan spells at Southend and Hereford.

Robinson has scored 16 goals in 19 starts and 26 substitute appearances for Huddersfield, and The Terriers chief executive Nigel Clibbens did not rule out making his move to the Lions a permanent one.
'Huddersfield Town and Millwall are both flexible with regards to where this loan move could lead in the future,' he said.

Robinson is expected to go straight into the squad which travels to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
