Jackett Pleased With Team's Response
Kenny Jackett has said that he was delighted with the team's response against Morecambe following our disappointment against Southampton.
Speaking to the official site the boss said was delighted to see us take a comfortable lead by the middle of the match, and then see the game out appropriately to keep a clean sheet.
'It's a win and it puts us into the next round, I'm pleased with the professional manner in which we went down to Plymouth and won, and then won here too against Morecambe.'
Jackett goes on to single out Abdou and Mkandawire for their performances, and says that it's matches like this that allow him to experiment a little and look at different combinations, whilst retaining a competitive edge to the performance.
