Malone/McQuoid Deal Rumbles On
Bournemouth Chairman Eddie Mitchell has confirmed that the two clubs are close to a deal to swop Josh McQuoid and Scott Malone.
Speaking to the Daily Echo the Chairman defended the decision by saying it's what seemed to suit both managers at the club.
Malone has already had his medical and agreed on personal terms, so the deal is just awaiting McQuoid's green light and agreement now.
With the Echo saying that a 'player plus cash' deal is yet to be agreed, it seems the deal is pretty far down the line and whilst Mitchell wouldn't obviously be drawn on figures it appears the final negotiation will come down to a payment of £750,000.
Mitchell said.
'At this moment in time I know they are working towards a deal but can't say how far they have got. It would have to work for the club. It's an ongoing situation but nothing has been finalisd. It's at the negotiating stage and whether or not it will come off is in the laps of the players and clubs.'

AFCB Fan in peace. Deal has gone through. We signed Mcquoid for free, from youth. We sold him to you for £550k. We bought Malone for £150k. We sold Malone to you for £750k + Josh Mcquoid. Really good buisness for Bournemouth, terrible buisness for Milllwall!!! Jacket is clearly an idiot. Perhaps you guys dont need the money?
