We Begin Where We Ended
Chairman John Berylson flew over for the fixture release today and he was delighted to see us open the new campaign where we finished the last, against Blackpool.
Speaking to the official site earlier today, he said.
'We're beginning where we ended. We played Blackpool on the last day of last season and now face them on the first day of the new season. I was thinking for some time who would I want to meet for our first game, and I think that in Blackpool, we have the perfect test.'
Berylson continues by saying we have been 'historically weak' at the start of seasons since his involvement with us, so Blackpool are the perfect challenge in terms of seeing how we have progressed and be a good insight into where we stand this season.'
