A Good Work Out, But Injury Issues
Kenny Jackett has called our opening pre season friendly a good work out for the lads, but unfortunately we've lost James Henry to injury.
Speaking to the official site after the game, Jackett was relatively happy although he wishes we could've taken our chances better, but fitness is king at this stage and Shelbourne gave us a good run out.
'James has twisted knee ligaments and may be out for up to a fortnight.'
In better news Therry Racon made his return to action after his injury spell.
'Therry played his first 45 minutes in over a year and came through ok. It was also important to see how the new lads are fitting in and to measure the progress of the young pro's.'
Jackett adds that short of Tam Mkandawire, the lads left behind in recovery should make the Crawley friendly.
