Two second half goals from newbie Chris Taylor helped Millwall come from behind in today's friendly.
Exeter:
Exeter City: Evans, Amankwaah, Baldwin, Coles, Moore-Taylor (Wannell), Sercombe (Keohane), Oakley (Frear), Bennett (Doherty), Davies, O'Flynn (Cureton), Gow (Bauza).
Goals - Davies, Gow.
Millwall:
Millwall: Forde, Smith (Dunne), Ward, Osborne, Malone (Barron), Henry (C Taylor), Abdou (Racon), Trotter (Wright), Feeney, N'Guessan, Marquis (Henderson).
Goals - Feeney (5), Taylor (76, 79).
Kenny Jackett had asked for a response from the team following the Crawley disappointment, and he told the official site that he thought Exeter were an excellent preparation and he was pleased to see the team responding the way they did.
'Exeter play a style of football we will encounter regularly, tactically they posed us the sort of problems we will have to deal with, so it was useful from that point of view. After the Crawley defeat, a win was important for us at this stage, but there is still plenty to work on.'
Jackett also said that he was hopeful that Paul Robinson and Shane Lowry would be involved at some stage in the next friendly against Southend.
