'If It's Football, It's Vital'
Lowry Doesn't Give A XXXX About Left Back
Shane Lowry has said he couldn't care less about playing left back, instead of his natural centre back position, if it means it helps out Kenny Jackett - although he does prefer his natural position.
Speaking to London24 the 23 year old Australian said.
'First and foremost, I see myself as a centre back, I did well with Robbo but I'll do whatever the gaffer and the team needs. I can play left back as well, I can do the job there.'
When Lowry joined from Aston Villa he came with more of a reputation of playing fullback from his time in their reserve squad, so there's no concerns over whether or not he can do the job well enough on the left.
Depends if Jackett is considering somebody else for the position following the departures of Tony Craig and Scott Barron. Is this his plan now though, more Lowry back to the left to allow for the experience of Shittu in the centre?
