Jackett Denies McNulty Rumours
Kenny Jackett has said the club are focusing on the players we currently have and at the moment he has no intention of delving further into the transfer market.
Speaking to NewsShopper the manager explained that the rumour of Barnsley left back Jim McNulty was false.
'No, I don't think we'll be making any transfers soon. At the moment we're focusing on the players that we have.'
Ok, maybe the McNulty rumours of a £300,000 bid are off target, but having let Craig and Barron go, and only bringing in Shittu you would expect another defensive player to be added - even if, as said elsewhere, Jackett's plan is for Lowry on the left now.
I'd be surprised if he is finished in the transfer market for now, unless he's just being coy and he meant for the duration of the interview.
