Mixed Emotions For Batt
Shaun Batt was delighted to get back on the scoresheet against Crawley, but like everybody else was bitterly disappointed by the end result.
Speaking to the official site in some ways you can understand Batt still smiling as he marked the start to this season with a goal.
'It's been a long time coming, I'd forgotten how to celebrate! It's nice to get your first goal in the first competitive game of the season, but obviously the result was not the result we wanted.'
As for his own progression Batt added.
'I've put a lot of hard work in and have to have faith and confidence that I can put my body on the line. I'm getting fitter and stronger and have no worries about my knee.'
Good to have him back!
