Trotter Happy To Sign An Extension
With rumours growing that Liam Trotter has at attracted Premiership interest, he says he's happy to sit down and talk about a new deal.
The most notable rumours before the window shut was that Paul Lambert was interested in the midfielder, but nothing came of it, but the 24 year old admits it's down to Millwall as to whether a new deal is offered.
Speaking to London24 the player said.
'It's up to the club if I get a new contract. If they are ready to offer me a new deal we'll sit down and talk about it.'
Jackett has spoken himself about the possibility of a new deal, as Trotter is somebody he wants to keep at the club.
'We've talked before, he has two years left. He's our vice captain, a good player and our door is open, yes.'
Jackett admitted in the interview he'd also like to tie down Jimmy Abdou aswell.
