Jackett Hopeful On Keogh
Kenny Jackett has said he is hopeful that Andy Keogh will be fit enough to play some part in this weekends derby against Crystal Palace.
Speaking to the official site now the international break is almost over, Jackett said.
'Andy has been for an x-ray, and our medical staff believe there is cause for optimism. We are hopeful things will settle down over the next couple of fays and we can then assess the situation later in the week. The news is by no means conclusive, but the signs do appear to be positive.'
Keogh netted for the Republic of Ireland against the Germans but suffered a concussion in training last weekend.
