Henderson First Goal Killed Us

Henderson First Goal Killed Us

Darius Henderson believes that Millwall were the better team against Birmingham, but the goal just before half time was the turning point he believes.

Speaking to London24 following the 3-3 draw, Hendo said.

'We started very well and got the three early goals. King steps up right on the whistle and it kills us a little bit. I thought at 3-3 we were the better team. We should've done better with the two goal lead, but we go into Saturday with a nice unbeaten run, although disappointed without the three points.'

Kenny Jackett was a little more focused on the defence following the game and told the official site.

'Our goals against column is not good enough this season. We've conceded three tonight and sides don't need many shots to score against us. For us it's one shot, one goal - the defending wasn't good enough.'
