Millwall Looking To Extend Beevers' Loan

Millwall Looking To Extend Beevers' Loan

Kenny Jackett has admitted he will be holding talks with Sheffield Wednesday over the possibility of extending Mark Beevers' loan spell with us.

Speaking to London24 Jackett said of the 22 year old.

'He has one more game but we'll speak to Sheffield Wednesday at the end of his loan, I'm sure. Since he's been we've been unbeaten so it's a nice little run and a nice stat. As a young player, he's looking to get into a Championship side, stay there and make his way.'

Danny Shittu also piped up about the hope of keeping Beevers.

Speaking equally to London24 about the loanee, he said.

'We've played five games together and it will be a disappointment if he goes. Everyone has seen that we're working well together and we know how each other plays. We've going to build on that now, I hope the management sort it out.'
