'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jackett Hails Chris Wood

Kenny Jackett has again said he would like to keep Chris Wood at the club, after he helped us to victory today against Blackburn Rovers.

Speaking to London24 following the game, the gaffer said.

'He is doing very well and in a rich vein of form but I'm sure he'd be the first one to say that the partners he's had have been very good as well. Obviously he is here until Christmas and it's an obvious one that we'd like it further. If we could get him at Millwall of course we would.'

Jackett also continued his praise for Andy Keogh.

'I felt Keogh was exceptional today, Henry and Woods will get the plaudits but I thought Keogh was out leader today with a lot of unselfish work.'
