'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jackett On Brighton & Wood

Kenny Jackett has described Brighton as the 'best side' that Millwall have faced away from home this season, and restated his hope that we can keep Chris Wood.

'Brighton are a very good side and probably the best team we have played. But I'm pleased with the performance and result. We created a number of chances in the first half and then we came under pressure. I was pleased that we took something from the game.'

As for the Chris Wood issue.

'I'm sure that Chris wants to stay. We are keen on him but we will have to see how it develops. I know that he likes it at Millwall, he's been playing and has been first choice. His second goal was an absolute screamer.
