Wood Loss Didn't Contribute To Defeat

Wood Loss Didn't Contribute To Defeat

Kenny Jackett believes we played a very good game today and we're unlucky to lose, and it had nothing to do with Chris Wood leaving.

Speaking to Sky Sports following the Cardiff game, Jackett said.

'It was a good performance and the positive was the amount of chances we created. You need to finish those off, but we didn't go down easy at all.'

As for the comments that Chris Wood has left a huge hole upfront Jackett said simply.

'We have to get over Chris leaving, we are disappointed, but they (board) could not do anymore in our remit. I wish him well.'
