'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Abdou Thanks Millwall

Jimmy Abdou has said things are looking up for his family back at home, and he's thanked Millwall for giving him time off when he needed it.

Speaking to the official site after the Preston game, Jimmy said.

'Everyone has been great at Millwall, particularly the gaffer who has allowed me to go home when I needed to. I'm happy to be back here playing again, and two wins has been a great start to the New Year. I was honoured to be made captain, and to beat Preston and get through to the next round made it even better.'
