That Win Was For The Gaffer

Skipper Danny Shittu has dedicated the Watford win to manager Kenny Jackett.

Speaking to the official site after taking the win to bounce back from our Wembley disappointment and change the headlines in the papers, Shittu said.

'That win was for him. The gaffer was all smiles in the changing room and it's nice because he has put so much hard work into the team this season. I am really proud because it has been a hard week for us, so for us to have dug out a win is massive. Our main focus is staying in this division and to beat a team like Watford means a lot because they are fighting for promotion.'

Shittu ends by saying that Millwall can get it right on the pitch, both in terms of remaining tight at the back but also taking chances when they come up front, he believes we are capable of beating anybody in the division.
