Jackett Disappointed With Penalty Decision

Jackett Disappointed With Penalty Decision

Kenny Jackett has bemoaned a ridiculous penalty decision in last night's game against Blackburn.

It appears only the referee believed that there had been contact between Mark Beevers and Grant Hanley, TV replays proved their wasn't, and as you can imagine, Kenny Jackett wasn't very complimentary about the decision when he spoke to the official site following the game.

'I've just seen it again and it did look a soft decision. My opinion is that the referee got his assessment wrong, it didn't look as if there was any contact so I would say it was a harsh decision. I wasn't displeased with the effort or commitment of my players and whilst we might not have done enough to win the game, I certainly think we deserved a point.'

The hits keep coming for Millwall at the moment as Danny Shittu was shown a second yellow card following the final whistle for remonstrating with the referee.
