McDonald Signs On

Steve Lomas has today added international striker Scott McDonald to our ranks.

The 29 year old has put pen to paper on a two year deal after having his contract terminated by mutual consent at Middlesbrough.

During his time with them he scored 40 goals in 124 appearances.

Speaking to the official site Lomas explained that he'd long been an admirer of McDonald and he was delighted to now have him at the club.

'I've watched Scott throughout his career and he has a proven track record, scoring at better than one in three games over a long period. The great thing from our point of view is that he's hungry to do well. He's got his eye on next summer's World Cup for Australia and knows that to get into the squad he needs to be scoring goals for Millwall.'
