Lomas' Frustration

Lomas' Frustration

Steve Lomas has admitted he is bitterly frustrated tonight as Millwall fell to their third loss of the season because he feels it was the best we have played so far.

Speaking to the Official Site following the loss to Huddersfield, Lomas bemoaned yet another sloppy piece of defending costing us in the league.

'I thought that was the best we've played so far this season. We started on the frontfoot and had Huddersfield camped in their half early on. But to concede another sloppy goal from a set play is bitterly disappointing. That's three very sloppy goals we've conceded now.'

Lomas adds that if people look at the stats he feels they will clearly show we were the better side on the day, but again we've shot ourselves in the foot and he's determined to change that on the training pitch.
