'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Holloway Sees Improvement Ahead Of Burnley

Manager Ian Holloway has said that he's seen steady improvement as a group ahead of our game this weekend against Burnley at Turf Moor.

Holloway will be facing off against former Millwall defender Sean Dyche, and they are unbeaten on home soil, and in some interviews Ollie has joked that it's about time he got some luck against him, but it just underlines how tough a game he knows it will be.

Speaking to the official site ahead of tomorrow's match Ollie said.

'We're taking on a fantastic opponent who are in a great mental state. They believe they can keep going. It's a massive pitch but we've always been successful there, I've never been successful there, but I'm taking my new team.'

Holloway goes on to say that all week Millwall have been planning carefully on how we will approach the match and we might try and be slightly different from what people expect on the day, but that will be tactically and he knows the players understand the plan.

'It's down to them to coordinate each other with the mindset that I'm talking about as a group and with pride in each other. In this game we are going to have to be a little bit more solid and a little bit less open, because they've got two of the best goalscorers in the division.'

There will be few giving us a chance given their current form, but Holloway is confident as with 18 games left and as he puts it 'to grow into a half decent unit' he's seeing the signs of that happening daily in training and he's pleased with what he's seeing.
