Holloway Adds Argentinian

Holloway Adds Argentinian

Manager Ian Holloway has added left back Federico Bessone Luna to our ranks until the end of the season.

The 30 year old Cordoba born defender has signed a short term deal at The Den after spending a very brief period with Sporting Kansas City in the USA.

He began his career at Barcelona alongside household names like Messi, Pique and Fabregas, before moving onto Espanyol.

Roberto Martinez brought him to Swansea City back in the summer of 2008 and since then he has played for Leeds, Charlton, Swindon and Oldham ranking up only 69 appearances in English football, scoring once.

Speaking to the official site as the deal was announced, Ollie said of the signing.

'He is a very good player who I believe will fit in very well with the style of football we are trying to develop here. We already have a quality left back in Scott Malone but you always need good cover in every position which is why Federico has joined us.'
