Feeney Leaves For Blackburn

Feeney Leaves For Blackburn

Winger Liam Feeney has now completed his speculated loan move to Blackburn Rovers until the end of the season.

The 27 year old moved to Ewood Park just prior to our win on Saturday over Derby County, and he has joined them on a maximum 93 day loan deal.

With manager Ian Holloway not utilising a proper wing role in his formations, and with the arrival of DJ Campbell and Simeon Jackson adding to the competition for places up front, the decision has been taken to allow Feeney out on loan so he can get game time.

We will have to see if this is with a view to a permanent deal or not, as speculated when he was out on loan at Bolton Wanderers earlier this campaign.
