Marquis & Hoyte Back Next Week?

Duo John Marquis and Justin Hoyte are expected to return to training next week ahead of our final friendly of the summer against Real Mallorca.

The game takes place at The Den on Friday August 1 and kicks off at 7.45pm and initially it was thought both players may struggle to be in contention for it following recent injuries.

Striker Marquis turned his ankle in training last Tuesday seconds after scoring for the XI side in a game against our U21s and right back Hoyte suffered a minor hamstring strain during the first half of our win over Dartford ten days ago.

Both have responded well to treatment through and it's hoped they will rejoin the main group in the next few days, at least very early next week.
