Port Vale go into the game with Shrewsbury at Vale Park on Friday five points from safety and in need of the victory. The Shrews are unbeaten in three but know defeat would leave them just two points ahead of Vale.

If Bolton can collect a third successive win it might be enough to take them into an automatic promotion spot if results favour the Trotters. Northampton have won three in a row themselves so are in good form heading to the Macron Stadium.

Bradford's automatic promotion bid suffered a minor setback in midweek with a draw but the Bantams have a chance to react against struggling Swindon. A win at Valley Parade would be expected against a Robins side seven points from safety after three straight defeats.

A first defeat in 10 saw Bristol Rovers' play-off bid suffer a blow. Second bottom Chesterfield are 10 points from League 1 safety heading to the Memorial Stadium.

Fleetwood reacted to a defeat with a midweek win to remain in second place just ahead of Bolton. The Cod Army know victory over Wimbledon - who won for the first time in six last time round - would maintain that position regardless of other results.

The point advantage Millwall hold over their play-off rivals also comes with the Lions having two games in hand. Bury head to the Den six points clear of the relegation zone.

Having gone four without a win MK Dons could yet get sucked into a relegation battle. This is a fight bottom of the league Coventry are destined to lose as the Sky Blues are 17 points from safety before this game at the stadium:mk.

Three defeats in four has seen Oxford's play-off bid derailed. Victory for the U's against promotion chasing Scunthorpe could yet bring them back into contention. The Irons' first win in 10 has helped maintain a push for an automatic place.

Peterborough will probably be glad to see the end of the season as six defeats in 10 has almost certainly ended a play-off bid. Posh - without a win in the last four - welcome relegation threatened Oldham - who have lost only twice in 10 - to London Road with the Latics a place and five points clear of trouble.

The long run without a win has seen Rochdale slide down towards midtable. Gillingham - with three wins in five - are heading that way and would move closer to safety with a win at Spotland.

Sheffield United are looking to secure a third straight win - and extend the unbeaten run to seven - to ensure the leaders will maintain the seven points lead at the top of the table, at least. Charlton's three game unbeaten run has taken them away from potential relegation trouble but the Addicks will look for a morale boosting Bramall Lane win to make sure.

Having won for the first time in four Southend got back into play-off contention in midweek. The Shrimpers host Walsall - who are only five points off the top six - with both still in the play-off hunting mix.

It goes without saying the expectation; most definitely the hope at least, will be for a positive result. But will this happen? We'll find out soon enough.

Ahead of the game we're looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which requires you to vote in the latest poll in one of the options you have been given.

However, don't just look also have a say. We don't just want your vote, which you can do to the right, we also want some thoughts and views ahead of the game as well so share these below.
