Forest Likely To Be Rescheduled

Forest Likely To Be Rescheduled

Millwall have informed fans that our opening day Championship tie against Nottingham Forest is likely to be given a new date.

The club released the information this weekend and advised fans not to book or arrange any travel plans for the game originally scheduled to take place on Saturday August 5 at the City Ground because it was likely to be moved, and both clubs were in discussions about a new date.

Trent Bridge, close to the City Ground, is hosting a 20/20 cricket competition on the same day and both Millwall and Nottingham Forest are in discussions over a new potential date and kick off time for the game.

The club hopes to have an update early next week for fans on that score.
