'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tuttle proud of Lions

David Tuttle believes Millwall can take confidence from the way they made Everton sweat for their FA Cup victory.

Lions boss Tuttle was pleased that his side managed to keep their Premiership opponents at bay for much of the third round replay at Goodison Park.

Former Millwall midfielder Tim Cahill finally broke the deadlock in the 72nd minute and Tuttle said: 'We did well to contain Everton and looked solid defensively.

'We just lacked penetration in the final third, which has been the story for much of the season.

'The goal was a disappointment because we were on the attack, they broke quickly and Cahill has sneaked up on the back post.

'But I've got no complaints about the players, who gave everything and did well against a good Premiership team over two games.

'I thought the centre-halves were very good and David Livermore put in another great shift. To be fair everybidy played their part.

'We are disappointed to go out of the cup but the priority is trying to stay in the Championship.'
