'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tuttle praises debut boys

David Tuttle hailed new signings Berry Powel and Lloyd Dyer after they helped salvage a point at Cardiff.

Lions boss Tuttle threw on the duo after half-time with Millwall trailing to Cameron Jerome's goal and Powel responded with the equaliser just three minutes into his debut.

Dyer was also a constant danger and Tuttle said: 'I was pleased with Berry and Lloyd Dyer who made their debuts in the second half.

'They both did well after such a short period of time with the squad.

'Berry took his goal well and looks a confident player.2

Tuttle was pleased to have earned a point from Dave Jones' play-off hopefuls.

Millwall remain in the bottom three but Tuttle said: 'We are happy with the way it went as a draw in Cardiff is a great result for us.

'Cardiff may have dominated the game but we have come away with a point that our second-half display deserved.

'We weren't good enough in the first half and didn't play with the high tempo which was required.

'We had a good chat at half-time and changed things and we began to look a different team.'
