"Obviously people sit there and talk a lot of rubbish about tactics, just wanting to find excuses".

"People keep going on about tactics, playing 'hoofball' or long ball or whatever crap they are talking about".

"I'll tell you what, our fans are the worlds worst if we give the ball away on the edge of our own box trying to pass it out - they would go absolutely mental. So how can they sit there and say we should change the way that we play?"

"It's been boring playing upfront the last few weeks as all we've done (in training) is defensive work".

This is not looking good on so many levels. Is NH aware of what Moro was going to say? Was Moro getting a message out for NH? Should we be inplying that our tactics are being dictated to apease the fans? Also using the word "hoofball" may suggest that someone is reading the forums.
This all appears very unprofesional.

Make him right though... in general we are not the most patient bunch... Morrison has always said what he feels and sometimes we are our own worst enemies

he is fucking right we want the ball forward as quick as possible. we all fucking moan when the ball gets played around. we are the most un patient set of supporters in england! we could never play passing football because as soon as we make a mistake we would be straight on their backs cunting them off!

Fuck off is he right, the silly wanker. He's part of the squad, if he don't like the training he can go fck himself and no the answer isn't to play hoof ball, its pass from defence to midfield, get it on the wings etc and attack.

You deluded pricks that back up Morison here should fck of to Charlton

We havent got the players to play that sort of football. So you are saying the crowd wouldn't/don't get straight on the backs of the players when they make a mistake to play football from the back into midfield. Players down here fucking hate making mistakes as they get cunted of straight away. We play to our strengths get the ball up quickly to the front two and play of them.

Fuck off, we don't have the players to pass the ball to someone in space, along the ground?

You know football really is a simple game, complicated by idiots. Playing short passing football to feet to a man in space should be the easiest form of football there is!

Passing the ball of a player in space is easy, but freeing players into space is more difficult. A problem we've had in recent years is that players don't know how to find space and/or are too frightened to and hide.

In short our movement off the ball has been awful. That may be the reason NH plays hoof ball or a result of us playing hoof ball. Either way to rectify this failing requires excellent coaching and I'm not convinced we have that ability within the club at present

I quite like Morrison’s attitude. He is our natural leader on the pitch, yet again in the Rochdale game, I think when AOB was injured he had a group of players around him talking to them. His whole arrogance or moody cob-on playing that striker role, looking for it’, not taking any shit from defenders and dishing it out makes him a leader. The fact he says that stuff in the paper is another example of giving it back, in this instance to the fans is fair enough in my book, if he didn’t try or wasn’t so good that might be a different matter. He’s right, at Millwall when things aren’t working out it can be an unforgiving place, nothing wrong in spelling that out, the flip of that is when you have the crowd it can be very ‘hairy’ (for the oppo).

In fact if Harris was to leave I’d have him as manager.

Fair play to Morison for being honest and speaking his mind. I don't agree 100% though

"I'll tell you what, our fans are the worlds worst if we give the ball away on the edge of our own box trying to pass it out - they would go absolutely mental. So how can they sit there and say we should change the way that we play?"

Whether we are the world worst I don't know, but Ive been there many a time when fans instantly lose patience if we 'fanny' around with the ball, without getting it forward. That's the way we've always been and it aint gonna change. But we can moan and suggest what ever we want, from who plays, to how we play, that's what being a paying punter is all about. We can say what the fuck we like about tactics et al.

But, the man's got bollocks and can say what he likes too. He has earned my respect for what its worth, even though I don't totally agree.

I like him as a player and his attitude on the pitch.
But please, keep to Football (or Hoofball if he prefers),
and leave the supporting to the paying baying mob.
If he thinks training is boring, try sitting in the stands watching the nonsense
along with the fans.
Surely they can't be blaming the fans for the shit they dish out?
If they are....Fucking priceless.

The last time I heard someone mention about tactics to appease the fans was Jacket when he completely ran out of steam and tried to change us into a possession side over night and then changed back to lumping it due to fan pressure.
