I'll reserve judgement on what I saw last night took his goals well and had a good touch but isn't blessed with pace.will do ok against the lesser lights can't see the class defenders is this division haven't too much difficulty with him.lack of pace up front is gonna kill us Gregory always looks as if he's carrying a niggle

He's a lump alright likes to use his strength i think he will do well for us once everybody around him learns his game his perfect for a target man as you can't miss him in the box & will draw in defenders in from set plays given the likes of cooper to get on the end of the balls in

What year was that?

Kev, you'll know Hank Marvin from 'The Rise and Fall of the Single Cunt" and accompanying Cliff Richard in "The Wrong Ones"....

I agree he is a big lump and he knows where the back of the net is. But let's not run away with the idea that scoring two against L2 opposition means he is a superstar. The big test will come Saturday if he gets on the field against Bolton or Tuesday against Ipswich or, even more critically against Norwich in a couple of weeks. The are bigger tests to face than Stevenage in the league cup and time will tell!

Doesn't matter who the opposition, scored 2 goals. That's the only thing we can say. If Morison scored 2 everyone would be cheering. Doing his job and hope it continues.

Could be starting against Bolton at this rate, with no Wheater hopefully he can bully Beevers and make space for whoever partners him

Have not seen him in flesh yet but thought he looked pretty mobile and quick on his feet for a big lump.

They were two very good crosses from Fred & Ferguson.

Not sure if Championship quality CB's or goal keepers could have done anything different to prevent Elliott heading in from point blank range.

However it's also likely Championship RB's would have stopped the crosses coming over in the first place

Elliott over Fred for me up top with Morro. Worth noting Elliott scored against Bolton last season.

Didn't go to the Stevenage game but from the highlights I would suggest that had he played against Notts Forest and been presented with the same heading opportunities as AOB, Morison and Fred he would have put all 3 away. That would have done me.

We'll have wait and see I wouldn't be putting all my eggs in his basket but with prices of strikers today he's about as good as we will pay for

I think you are wrong about this pace idea--he has pace, just those long strides are deceiving..and his quickness was displayed as he easily with strength an quickness defeated the markers from Stevenage...I think we have done well picking up this fellow--especially if the boys can keep up that level of service.
