Any of you lads interested in arriving at Griffin Park aboard a Model LTA-1000 Zeppelin?

Being as the max capacity is only twelve - bookings will be taken on a first-come, first served basis.

The Airship will be tethered to one of the old Gasometers in Devon Street, next to the Recycling Centre.

The price, including Champagne Reception, return Flight to Carville Hall Park (only a seven minute walk to The Princess Royal), three course Dinner on return, plus Free Bar: £67.50 plus VAT.

Departure 10.30am, arrive back around 8.30pm.

So, if you fancy seeing London from a Zeppelin LZ 68's perspective, this is the trip for you!

See the Kensington Oval, the Hammersmith Gyratory System and the Hogarth Roundabout in a completely new light!

Flying goggles, Leather Coats and Gauntlets supplied free of charge - (loan only).

This sounds like the classiest venture you've proposed to date.
If you guarantee it won't crash and burn, I'm in!
2 tickets please.

Paris, you do come up with some hair brained ideas! Most do us just use our Freedom Passes and go on the train from Waterloo!
I have two questions.
What happens if it is a windy day and it moves about near that gasometer? I've seen all those old black and white videos on Pathe News with the Hindenberg!
How long is the flight? Some of us with weak bladders want to know whether there is a toilet on board in case we get taken short at 500 feet. I mean, do you provide bottles for a discreet pee or do we have to urinate over the side and get some poor souls washing wet? These are serious issues that need answers!

The complement so far:

Whisky - 1 tkt (with a rider of visiting Fullers en route)

Bex - Maybe (Height restrictions may apply)

BP - 2 tkts

Mama - Maybe (needs guarantee Blimp will not explode)

I knew this would be very popular with the Rank and File.

Fulham are playing at Home that day - perhaps we could bomb them from 2,000 feet?

Silverlion,

I understand your concerns.

1. The Hindenburg (Model LZ 129 ) was full of Hydrogen - we are using Kev's farts. He's coming up on the Friday afternoon to begin the inflation process.

2. Each passenger will be issued a NHS Colostomy Bag for the journey Outbound; another for the Return Flight.

Flight time, approximately 2 hours 30 minutes.

Hope these answers allay your fears - shall I put you down as a 'Maybe?"

No, mate, sorry.

Disability Dennis and Cathrine Cripple would be a liability in such a confined space.

Don't blame me - have a word with the Health and Safety Executive.

Just had a message from a Stoma Nurse at The Royal Free - Urine is collected in a Urostomy Bag and not Colostomy, as previously stated.

Apologies.

What?

How come this was never raised at the AGM?

A match with no Silverlion 'Just Back,' is like a Fish without a Bicycle.

Just talked it over with the family and it's a no I'm afraid.
Apparently, you haven't taken into account the likelihood
of snipers.
