Paris, I find it very sad that you have joined the Brylcreem Boys and forsaken our Maritime Heritage. I thought that the arrival in 'Pompey' of the 'QUEEN ELIZABETH' would have inspired you . Sad, oh so very sad

Obes, there's few on here that have joined the Vaseline club let alone Brylcreem.

Must admit, mate, it is an impressive Carrier - what a pity we have to wait another 25 years for the aircraft.

Knocker's just arrived back from Toulouse.

If you're driving along The Westway, give him a wave.

That's the reason Knocker didn't include a RAF Roundel in the livery.

That's my Instagram filter - but I take your point.

All we need now is a plan to bomb Craven Cottage!

Knocker has received his Flight Plan from NATS at Heathrow Airport.

Must admit, it’s not quite as straight forward as it first seemed.

One minor point is Knocker’s only experience of actually flying an aircraft is ‘Lock On: Modern Air Combat’ for PC.

NATS say the weather could be three hundred scattered, measured ceiling five hundred variable broken, one thousand one hundred overcast, visibility five, light rain, fog, smoke.. Ceiling ragged, variable four to six hundred .......... or, it could be sunny intervals with scattered showers.

Navigation and flight management systems need to be in place, including Automation autoflight.

Copy of The Plan:

KnockerAir 206, Heathrow Ground, clear Bermondsey, WOBUN 2F, squawk 4361.

KnockerAir 206, climb to altitude 600ft, pass 240ft, Old Kent Road 2F departure.

KnockerAir 206, holding point A4 Kew Gardens - 27R via J, B, L and A, QNH 1015 millibars.

KnockerAir 206 - turn left heading 310 degrees, descend to altitude zero ft.

No idea what a Squawk Code is.

Knocker wanted to keep the Radio tuned to Kiss FM, but NATS say keep the Channel open to ADS-B with dedicated 1090 MHz ADS-B ‘out’ and ‘in’ capability

His intention is to keep the Great Pagoda at Kew on the horizon - that way he reckons nothing can go wrong!

Paris, don't you think the world has enough to worry about with that Luny in North Korea and his mate in Washington without the 'Wall putting the whole 'Shebang' in this country on f ull alert ? Mind you we probably don't have any Fighters working on Saturdays due to the |Overtime Costs.

Admiral of The Fleet,

I appreciate your concerns, mate, but we are flying at a ceiling of 600 feet, so I doubt if will be mistaken for a MiG 21.

Our first objective is to fuck-up Fulham's match with Preston.

We intend to drop Dulux Sapphire Salute on the centre-circle and both goal-mouths.

How big were those Barrel Bombs they used in Syria?

I reckon we'll need 20 x 2.5 litre tins - so, if any of you lads work in Wicks, B&Q or similar and can get a bit of a discount; obviously, there would be a bit of a drink in it for you.

The trip is now SOLD OUT.

No, Whisky - the average age of the complement is 73, so we will all sit together.

Wee-bags will be issued by Mama at the bottom of the rope-ladder, before passengers climb aboard.

A Duty Free Bar will be available over Barnes. Beers and Selected Wines.

Dinner on the return journey will consist of:

STARTER
Seared fresh tuna tataki on dressed wakame salad served with jalapeño, ginger and coriander.

MAIN COURSE
Seared fillet of Herefordshire beef with truffle taglierini, rosemary jus, grilled asparagus and baby carrot
OR
Buttermilk marinated breast of cornfed chicken with Taleggiowrapped Parma ham, honeyglazed fig wedges, Mediterranean lentil salad and basil vinaigrette

DESSERTS
Nougat cream with mango gel and praline pearls
OR
Warm blackberry and vanilla clafoutis with sauce anglaise with Vanilla ice cream

CHEESE PLATE
SHROPSHIRE BLUE
A soft cheese with a sharp, strong flavour and a slightly tangy aroma of Kev's socks.
BARBER’S 1833 VINTAGE CHEDDAR
A creamy cheese with a distinct flavour and smooth finish. Made just after half past six.
NORMANDY BRIE
Not available, because it's French.

Fresh fruit

A selection of biscuits

Not bad for the price, I'm sure you'll agree

This morning Knocker's been for the final fitting of his Airship Driver's Uniform.

Looks rather dashing, don't you think?
