I remember going to Grimsby in 1934, and Pat Glover scored a hatrick against us.

He was a real handful that day

I think this was Silverlions first Just Back report

Well remembered, EKU. According to Silver, all three of Glover's goals were down to some outstanding huffing and puffing: Duncan Yuill didn't stand a chance in goal that day.

Just to sweeten the bitter pill of today's defeat at Wolves, thought you'd be delighted to know my apples got second place in the local show.

Regretting not entering my pears as well as my blackberry and ginger jam which I suspect would have pissed their sections.

Oh, well. Always next year.

I've come to the conclusion the Wanking Competition should be staged at Lewisham Town Hall - be best if we can get a Sunday slot just after the Methodist and African United Churches have chucked out.

That way could get a few extra entrants.

Think it should be billed Furious Face Wankathon ( all comers welcome)

Just thought I would pop my head in, and see if anyone from this thread had been committed to an old folks home over the weekend, or indeed, even remember what the score was between Notts County vs Millwall on Saturday ?

We were all out for 120, they made 350.

It wasn't the umpire he knocked out, it was Sterling Moss the scrum half.
