I just hope that when bomber does introduce Elliott as a starter that he is given a proper run of games, say at least 7 or 8, regardless of whether he is regularly finding the net or not (absolute nightmare performances excepted mind). This level is totally new to him and he'll need time - plus it's impossible to be consistent at any level unless you are a consistent starter.

Wasn't there Leon so hard to comment mate, but our story this season so far has been a failure to take chances, especially the front two (or three if you include AOB). Agree with the points re Elliott.

I wasn't there either so in fairness watching on iFollow maybe you get a different perspective as being there. Seems pretty clear to me though that we will only win games if we can force our style of play on opponents. This is More likely at home than away and Norwich being a similar type of side is my case in point. I personally would like us to setup differently away from home maybe bringing in Tunnicliffe and playing one up front. Revert to 442 if we are chasing a game with 25/30 minutes left. Maybe a single striker up top is where Elliott could be in his element, hussling and bussling dedenders. Playing the same formation with the starting 11 will simply become known by opponents and easy yo cointer. We are the surprise package in this league and have to use that best at home but shut the door away from home, nicking more draws than losses and the occasional win. Morison and Gregory still have goals in them but only if the service is there. Feeding off scraps yesterday against a well organised and talented team. Their movement off the ball was the best I've seen so far. Nothing up top to fear though and that could cost them top six. NH was also too slow to react to change yesterday and could of stopped us going down to 10 men. A learning curve for us all and lessons need to be learnt. Elliott could be out until at least the Leeds game if not longer. Ferguson in for AOB most likely the only change unless someone got injured.

Agree 100%. Possibly a reason AOB got sent off is because many of our fans, including me, have been getting onto him to get stuck in and he got carried away. Morison's limitations were badly exposed yesterday. Hopeful he will rise to the occasion on Tuesday and/or Tom is fit and proves what he can do for us.

As I said before 6 goals conceded so far have been from shots from outside the area. It was nearly 7 when Bristol City hit the bar with Archer beaten.

Playing 3 in central midfield would reduce the amount of long range shots as there would be more bodies in the way & tackles going in.

It would mean playing just one up front, but the current front two have only scored once between them this season. The 3 CM's & 2 wingers can always chip in with goals. As they have already done.

It is harsh to blame our forwards for the defeat. However 1 goal in 6 games in abysmal. Morison also had our best clear cut chance and failed to hit the target, didn't even make the keeper work. I just wish Bomber would use some imagination in his changes. 3 defenders on the bench and a keeper, not bringing in another forward may well cost us. Wont be losing away to Wolves that sends us down, but not winning at Forest, home to Bolton, inept defending against Ipswich and not pushing home our advantages at Bristol may be the difference!

I've always been a big fan of Morison, but just don't think he's is doing a good enough job at the moment.

As far as the starting line-up goes, think he may be drinking in the Last Chance Saloon, tomorrow night.

Morisons first spell at Millwall he would be effective at running the lines with the ball. As well as scoring goals. Holloway even played Morison as a winger sometimes during his second spell.

No one is expecting Morison to still be running the lines now. The last two seasons he's stayed more central & used his experience & good technique to score or set up goals. In league 1.

If he doesn't score or set up goals, it seems he's not doing much as he's not going to bully CB's, win lots of headers, frighten players with his pace or be a floating link up player.

At present he's scored none had a hand in 2 goals. But still believe he can contribute 5 - 10 goals this season.

I think NH should play a different formation away from home.I don't like their style but Boltin came down and did a number in us by sucking any life from the game and NH should look to play the same way and stick 5 in the middle andnadjust as thr match goes on if need be especially as we have a thinish squad andnits that that will get us relegated if anything, also we do need another striker.

Mostly agree witt you Adam, but pretty much every CB has him beat and every FB can outpace him. if we hoof we have had it ..and possession=goals in this league. Wolves could have had six

10 from Moro might justify a place - 5 would be a joke and a guarantee we are going down. i still question whether Neil has the balls to park him on the bench for more than a game ...or less

Has Harris ever played anything other than 4 4 2 ?

When everything is going well, playing 4 4 2 is fine. However during bad periods in league 1, I believe he still kept 4 4 2.

If Harris was planning to regulary play 5 in midfield he would have surely kept Butcher or replaced him like for like in the transfer window. Five CM's are needed in the squad if 3 CM's are going to be regulary selected.

Playing 5 in midfield away to Wolves would have been the perfect opportunity to try it. But before the game Harris was accepting on 'News at Den' Wolves would have a lot of possession.

Williams, Saville & Tunnicliffe have played around 300 Championship games between them & are still young. Are Morison & Gregory a Championship quality partnership ?

The other option is to play 3 CB's. Cooper, Hutchinson & Webster have proven themselves Championship quality & are all quite young.

Morison said himself he needed rests last season but there was no one to replace him. Tuesday is the perfect time to rest him.

If Elliott is not fit, play Fred with Gregory. Fred won't bully any defenders or win flick on's. But then Morison isn't doing that either. Fred does have some pace & skill.
