The kit looks good, and like LeonC, I also like it. But it does beg the question about if more thought had been given to the second kit there would be no need for a third kit. You don't have to have won Mastermind to work out that there are at least three clubs.....Reading, Sheffield Wednesday and QP ha ha......who play in blue and white stripes and therefore a white shirt as your second kit won't work. I do take the point the we did play in our first kit with dark blue shorts against Reading in the Carabou Cup. Why couldn't we play in the same tonight?
With a bit more thought our second kit could have been orange or purple or pink and therefore no need for a third kit. And then it dawned on me....duh!
There are some who will fork out another £45 for a Millwall shirt just so they can wear their clubs' colours and have the whole range of shirts for this season. Like you Leon, I wouldn't bother but there are lots who will.

For over a 100 years teams in white shirts played sides wearing stripes and hoops.

Now it's a problem....?

Or even navy v royal blue and white hoops:

Must admit, I like it a lot.

I reckon on a bloke such as me, it wouldn't look too bad.

They always say black is slimming - but, in The Weather Girls case it proved the opposite.

Do they do them in XXXXXXL?

I'm not keen on black football kits. The only person dressed in black on a football pitch should be the ref.

Also, like whisky, I don't see how our home shirts couldbe considered a clash against QPR.

Thank you, Nat Lofthouse.

Now back to the Grandstand Studio.

I well remember Port Vale turning out in their all black kit with gold facings back in 1912. And Newport County's similar strip of 1938 seems just like yesterday.

But anyone who suggests I saw Bristol Rovers - or the Black Arabs, as they were then - back in 1884 displaying these distinctive colours is just taking the piss...
