Looks like an appeal is on the cards from NAD.

I will be amazed if we win the appeal, the FA hardly ever concede to a refereeing mistake with Millwall.

Watching it on You Tube the ref doesn't appear to have a clear view of it and it very hasty in pulling out the card. Both Morison and Fergie were very surprised at the decision and I am sure there will be much debate at Calmont Road today before an appeal is considered. Win it and Gregory is good for Saturday. Lose it and he is out for three games. The cards are stacked against us at the FA and even if it is a valid appeal I am not sure it will come down in our favour. Time will tell!

My son showed me a still of the tackle.

Their bloke gets to the ball 1st and Gregory is around 18 inches away trying for a one-footed tackle, not two-footed as in the BBC report.

Certainly not malicious but can't see the FA overturning it.

Massive Reffing mistake that cost us 2 points yesterday and Gregory for 3 games

The appeal for this red card for Abdou was successful. However that was a long time ago.

Steady-on, mate.

Has the rule changed, as I thought a failed appeal incurs an extra game ban?

I think the extra game ban can apply if they think you are really taking the piss by appealing.
If the appeal is rejected but still judged reasonable, 3 game ban. But hey, I could be wrong, I am an old codger.

It's Millwall.....4 games it is then
