Can you believe an entire country (this one) doesn't eat sausages, they eat salami and that german frankfurter shit that is strictly for emergencies. Just seen a yank tv series, a vendor with the sign "hot dogs and hot sausages" Do they really sell sausages or are they doubling down on frankfurters? I am definitely going to do a frozen food import this year. WALLS!

Walls/Richmond (same company) are shit nowadays, no texture and not much taste either.
Its annoying that nowadays nearly all sausages you buy contain herbs, black pepper etc.I love sausages but have to pay a premium and get them from my local butcher where you can choose sausages as you like them, without all the extra ingredients.
Its the same with pies, buy a supposed 'all steak pie' only to find the dreaded black pepper added.A tiny bit I can handle but they all seem to overdo it, I suspect to disguise the fact that the steak doesn't have much flavour,
Bring back Kennedys, real sausages and pies.

I think the best sausages are the cheap ones from Marks and Spencer.

£1.10 for eight.

Yes, they are full of ears and arseholes, but they taste okay with a bit of English Mustard on them!

I used to always buy Porkinson's, but it's a long time since I've
come across them in the shops. I wonder if they still exist ?

Yes, mate, there is all sorts of shit in them - but disguised under a full-English, totally acceptable!

Kennedys sausage were unbeatable.

I remember as a kid having to queue with my mum outside the Kennedys shop every Saturday morning to get their sausages.

I now live in Lincolnshire and the only sausage that comes close is Boston sausages, very very good but not as good as south London's finest!
