Shame Webster got injured but Cooper is a more than adequate replacement because he is a better player.

Trouble is we have to worry about Hutchinson getting injured now.

Tunnicliffe a very good player too but a different style to Williams so we'll have to adjust.

Harris will either look for a free agent centre back immediately (there are a few out there) or wait until January when he'll bring in a loanee centre half, another centre midfielder and please God a quick striker that knows where the net is

When did this happen, seem to remember him in agony during the Barnsley game, and then all of a sudden seemed fine after a bit of treatement.
Same with Williams during the Reading game.
Have mistakes been made here, allowing them to carry on.
Squad no where near big enough, only have to look at the back of the programme each week to see the difference in the squads.

Harris says he likes small squads of around 20 players. Saying all his players then know they have a chance of being involved in the 18 man squad on match days.

Big Mick had a different approach & quickly built up the squad size to 40+ players.

If players within Harris's small squad get long term injuries, I assume new players will be signed on long term loans. As Cooper was last season when Hutchinson was out.

As very close to the Webster injury on Saturday and it was obvious immediately it was serious and his knee....cant work out how he stayed on and clearly aggravated what was already damage.....where the blame rests needs to be thought about. As for replacement Cooper will do for me....and yes time for others to step up and be there in the event of further injuries/suspensions.

Webster getting injured so badly is a massive blow for him and the club. Cooper can now come in but any more injuries at the back or suspensions and we are in trouble.
Williams injured as well has had a big affect on us. Two key players missing is bloody awful. Only hope we can get by at least until January.

Webster has been the most consistent player we've had in the last few years... Massive loss.

Will be a big miss for us, and don't forget Cooper is a left C/B. It's not like for like Hutch will have to move to the right so big changes for our back line.

Yes last season it was either Cooper/Webster or Hutchinson/Webster.

Don't recall a Hutchinson/Cooper partnership much. But they will have 2 weeks to work on it on the training ground.

Webster was a very good summer signing by Holloway. He should have picked Webster for the first 10 games of the following season & told him to make that position his own. Alongside Beevers.

However Dunne was picked at CB & Webster sent out on loan.

Big Mick signed Paul Holsgrove, who looked not bad in around 10 games. Then let him go to Reading where he played 70+ games. Andy May & Rae were first choice CM's then but May was injured virtually all the time. With McGlasgen, Verveer, Bogie & Paul Kerr also let go by Big Mick, the midfield area was very weak.
