Can think of worse players to be one of the clubs 4 CB's. Has spent virtually all his career in the Premiership & Championship. Once costing 8 million.

Although without a club he may still want big wages. There is no record of him playing for Birmingham yet so can't be blamed for their position.

if cooper/hutch got injured I know i'd rather have bassong rather than tony craig!

bassong was training with Birmingham in a bid to get a deal, but when they sacked redknapp they also let bassong go..see here >

it was only 2 years ago bassong was voted Norwich's player of the year, and its to no surprise Norwich are shit at the back since he left, I'm not saying he is a world beater but he is a very good option for us

What i'm saying is if birmingham did not want him and let him go he could not have made much of a impact when training with them for a contract and with their current crop of players he did not have to do to much to get a contract so must of been not good enough now.

I rate Cooper, and he can't get in the team. Rather us chase a striker.

Bassong was a regular for Norwich in the Premiership in the 2015/16 season. They got relagated & he hardly played for them last season.

Norwich released him & he still hasn't found a club. May have fitness issues & certainly won't be match fit now.

Bassong is not as good as Gregory at winning penalties. However no one can accuse him of not trying.

Not sure but with Webster out for the rest of the season and the amount of booking's Cooper collects we need someone
