That's the same excuse as Kev uses, for his collection of Robert Mapplethorpe prints!

Late 60's, walking over to Tower Beach, there were plenty of 'those type' of girls.
Used to walk back with our buckets hanging on our dicks....

This thread has had me revisiting my youth. The Trainspotters must look at us with envy.
The Bricklayers Arms and all those marvelous Steam Engines in and out.

"this forum runs on windows 2003 which by default only allows attachments smaller than 200kb."

What's this all about ? The forum software seems to be older than these pictures....
Do you have to resize the photo before posting ? Happens on the iPad as well.

Real memory's there.running through Jones & Higgins from top to bottom., Me and bruv had to go up to fine fare and get the weekly shop for Mum.Sis worked in Samuel Jones for years.
Bought my first motorcycle from Edwards,. Rye lane was very busy on Saturdays, the Bargain centre especially.
Reeds record shop . If they didn't have it, they would get it.

Manor Place Baths was in Camberwell, not Walworth. Had school swimming lessons there.

my mum also worked at Samuel Jones, a few of em got locked in during a wages snatch,.. 60's

My Sis started there as an office junior straight from school in 1962 and was there until about 1968. Sadly the building has gone now but the butterfly was saved and is now on the wall of Lynn boxing club in Wells Way.

And Midway...yes I realised I got confused with Manor Place but heh!what can I say
Used to meet up with a few 'wall mates in the Temple Bar for a swift pint before setting off to The Den in my trusty old A35,smoking and belching all the way (the car that is, piston rings were knackered)

Yes Byron, it's a fuckin' nuisance!

About time Vital got with the 21st century - all the stuff I try to load gets so compressed as a jpg, they end up being totally unreadable!

Are you resizing the pictures yourself ? If you are, what programme/app are you using ?
I understand that you might have to kill me if you tell me, but I am prepared to take the risk.
