Late 60's, walking over to Tower Beach, there were plenty of 'those type' of girls.
Used to walk back with our buckets hanging on our dicks.... :grin:

Manor Place Baths was in Camberwell,not Walworth. Had school swimming lessons there.


I remember my Dad taking me to see Rudolph Turpin (a former World Boxing Champion who had been ripped off during his boxing career) wrestle. Sad to see a great champion reduced to this to earn a few pennies :sadno:
Rudolph Turpin he wasn't a fucking reindeer mate

Anybody remember the pub directly opposite the Samuel Jones factory my old man was the landlord from 1955-1959.Was called The Crescent Arms.

Certainly do, grandparents worked there for a while 60's, also frequented the Orange Tree, they lived just of Havil Road.

Yep remember the orange tree and the Shakespeare just up the road .when we left the crescent arms moved to The Woodman in Lee High Road.The old man could have signed for Charlton but turned it down because the money was shit.
