It was Theo Papadopoulos trying to Give his perma tanned bum buddy Simon Jordan a bargain while hanging us out to dry. So glad when he decided on Everton.

"I will never go there" is what he said to me at a pre season friendly at Dulwich Hamlet years ago.

Cahill has said many times that he would never forget who gave him his chance in the game, he has never said a bad word about our club or our fans.

True, but there's really no such thing as easy opposition nowadays when it gets to the play-off stages.
Remember Iceland ?
TBH, Australia should have had a hat full but they still rely on Timmy.
Still think at 37 he'd do a great job at The Den over a season or two..

Australia have raised their game since Tim Cahill got in the squad, they still rely on him to this day and will suffer and fall down the rankings when he leaves.

Some of the players play in Europe but some still play in the "A league" (Australian league) which is about the quality of the English League 2... which just aint cutting the mustard internationally. Shame really.

I would have him back tomorrow
In one of the interviews he was offered double what millwall was offering, one and a half for a Div 1 team (no championship then) and just £250 a week from Millwall. The rest is history as he chose Wall
