i'm in Cologne Wednesday to Friday this week as an invite by the German company i deal with. Interestingly i note for the first time they have allocated Thursday afternoon as a questions and answer meeting , i wonder why?

Forget the free movement of people and all the other crap which is just a smoke screen, we have been allowing it for years and probably have a more cosmopolitan population than any other Country.

The real problem that is causing issues and why Germany would be happy to see us walk away with no deal is because they want the huge city finances that the EU and world generates to be in Frankfurt where they are so sure it will happen they have already built the infrastructure there . To be fair they must get pretty pissed of that we make so much off the back of the EURO alone when we refuse to use it ourselves.

Another thing, we should not worry about the pound falling, it will help the UK's trade deficit to fall. Mercs, Renault, VW etc will all be 15% dearer to buy in the UK and Range Rover, Jags etc will be 15% cheaper to buy in Europe. Holidays will be dearer in Europe for us but cheaper for them to come to the UK. The falling pound isn't the problem but jobs going from London to Frankfurt is. At the moment banks are clear that nobody wants to live in a souless place like Germany, lets hope that view continues . Unfortunately being in or out of the EU might not have any baring on the financial center moving but it would be easier and quicker for Germany if we were out.

You are all moaning as though all of this wasn't somehow inevitable?

The EU will always try to get what is in their best interests, and we will try to get what's in ours. That's the game.

May will stay on for as long as it takes to sign an agreement. A shit agreement, that will piss just about everyone off. But, one that will conveniently tie the hands of the next PM.

Cunts like Boris are just positioning themselves to run AFTER Brexit brings May down. They dont actually want to be the one who signs the thing

we manage for thousands of years not being part of the EU and we prospered as a nation, being able to implement our own laws and rights, not being told what we can and cant do by some nonce case cunt in brussels.
We do not need EU for anything. they are fucking parasites who actually need to be given a severe kicking, and we should just leave without paying a single penny to those cunts most of whom would not be here if it were not for the British defeating the german nazi jew murderers.

I voted Leave. I thought i was voting to walk away and tell them to do one, not all this negotiating bollocks. I'm sick of people saying we didn't know what we were voting for, i did know, but it doesn't look like i'm going to get it...

This is typical of the obstructive negotiating style of the EU (remember Greece)? Frankly and bearing in mind Germany's desire to take over the City of London's Premier financial position we should remember that under Article 50 of the EU's own constitution we don't have any legal obligation to pay a penny of cent - check it out. Frankfurt is not really a threat - there are many clever people in the Square Mile who can run circles round the rest of the world . Frankfurt , Paris, even Dublin just do not have the skills nor experience. I'm not being over-confident nor complacent. London has seen it all before from |New ork and Singapore and Hong Kong and blimey we're still here. Tell Junkers and his mates to Go Forth and Multiply' and let's see how they are then going to plug the bloody great hole the lack of our contribution not being in their coffers
