How low does a fighter jet need to be to set off a car alarm? (without sonic boom) understanding variables for all different. And can I track the ones that just flew overhead? Even when the airshow is on and the military planes fly over, they've never been as low as the two just now.

Always takes me by surprise when i take the bike up to the moray firth area of Scotland and invariably get buzzed by a Tornado that seems to be at about 50 feet and 500mph. Fucking show offs.

Yes have walked in areas in UK where jets have flown very low in the open countryside, just a bit unusual in a capital city. The initial sound makes you think a plane is going down.
