Who turned out for the Lions only a few times, did not play for a Welsh team throughout his career, but was a surprise signing at the time.

There must be a story on how Ron turned up at Millwall from Man U. Poor bloke ended up skint after playing for some of the big USA teams.

Agree with Whisky, Ron Davies BUT he did play for Chester City and given that the Welsh Border runs through the middle of their ground and they've won The Welsh Cup on 3 occasions it could be argued that he did play for a Welsh Team

Bad luck, Purely: you are getting your grounds confused.

The present Chester club play at Deva Stadium, the majority of which is in Wales.

Sealand Road, the ground on which Ron Davies played, was in England.

Chester did win the Welsh Cup three times, but are English. Cardiff City, whom Millwall excellently drew against yesterday, have lifted the English Cup, but are Welsh.

And following on the theme:

Which two talented Welshmen helped propel Millwall to promotion, despite utterly loathing each other?
