I preferred this lot when they were a bit feral.

Brought the best pound for pound away following I've ever seen at the 'new' Den back in 1998/99. Even the 150 or so they brought for an AWS Cup game created more atmosphere and edge than Palace or Charlton have ever managed. And that game at Ninian Park in 1999 when about 3,000 were trying to kill us

Nowadays they are no different to any other mid sized Championship club. Shame really. Cardiff is a great city though and worth the trip alone.

I think we have a free pass today - not expected to get anything, so should just go out and enjoy the battle it will no doubt be. They play with a similar style to us, but with more proven Championship players - perhaps time for Saville or Wallace to really prove how good they are and can be.

Some of the more interesting meetings between the two...

On 29th October 1966, almost exactly 51 years ago to the day, Millwall beat Cardiff City 1-0 to equal Reading's 55 game unbeaten run at home. The Lions went on to beat that record at 59 games.

On 16th April 1938 Millwall beat Cardiff City 1-0 in front of 25,647 at The Den to start a 6 match winning streak that resulted in promotion as Champions of the Third Division (South) - in those days only one side went up.

On 25th January Millwall recorded their biggest ever win over the Bluebirds, running out 5-1 winners in front of 8,101 at The Den. The Lions completed the double over Cardiff City with a 1-0 win at Ninian Park in front of 6,598. Millwall only won 10 games and were relegated that season, interestingly they did the double over both Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday - the two clubs they were relegated with. Both Millwall and Cardiff City bounced straight back, but missed out on the title to mighty Hereford United!

if our defence holds tight like we know they can Cardiff will find it hard to score.
Boro held tight and were only undone by a late penalty.
There's not traditionally many goals between us and them so we might nick the 3 points with a single goal.
Defence will be the key, so not expecting an entertaining game.

I got my match ticket weeks ago, bought my rail ticket yesterday. Work has been taking over and last night meant I had to drop out, meaning today is managing the run up to the handing over of a project and not going to the game. Got my train fare refunded.

Very disappointed as I was well looking forward to this one, think we will get something if we can translate the energy from the Brum game.

Just seen Wrexham take lead against Leyton Orient. Amazingly a non-league fixture now, whilst Yeovil take on Stevenage in League Two!

2 excellent saves - one of which perhaps he shouldn't have had the chance to make - they missed a free header from 6 yds

moro missed 1 on 1 that he never look liked scoring - 2 half chances for gregs - little composure and ball retention - a typical away performance

We are getting a few chances now.
A rasping Morison shot turned round the post.

A very good point! Well done Archer - superb performance. And cheers to the ref too, actually had a bit of fortune in that department for a change
